Pembrokeshire police are warning people about a number of scams operating in the county. The neighbourhood policing teams have received reports about various companies asking for personal details in exchange for prizes. Sergeant Jill Evans said: "The requests have included bank details, names, addresses, marital status, copies of passports, in fact everything needed to steal your identity. "We are warning people to disregard these letters and e-mails, often emanating from abroad so as to avoid prosecution, with the advice to always consider the fact that if you have not entered these lotteries, you are not a winner! "Please remember, never pass personal or banking details to anyone whether it be by post, phone or e-mail."
