Five-year-old cancer ward fundraiser Elly Neville had a fantastic time at the Lost Coins in Haverfordwest last Saturday.
After a lot of fundraising by Anna Miller (manager) and the team at the Lost Coins with music nights, quiz nights etc. over the last few months, Elly was invited along to collect a cheque for Elly’s Ward 10 Flag Appeal for a superb £553.60. Elly also enjoyed a very large bowl of jelly and ice cream!
“This is a fantastic amount and we thank all at the Lost Coins for their hard work, support and generosity,” said Elly’s dad Lyn. “Thank you to all the customers who donated.”
The Lost Coins are also kind enough to be holding a supply of Ward 10 Flag merchandise, so if you need a Ward 10 flag keyring, coaster, fridge magnet or bottle opener, that’s the place to go!
The support for Elly’s Flag and for improved cancer services is very much appreciated by Elly’s family and all the Ward 10 staff at Withybush General Hospital.
Elly’s Appeal total now stands at £11,800.
Donations can be made at https://www.justgiving.com/ward10flag/ or at any Pembrokeshire branch of Barclays Bank, quoting Elly’s Ward 10 Flag Appeal T928, or by post c/o Pembrokeshire Cancer Support, 91 Queen Street, Pembroke Dock, SA72 6JE (cheques payable to Elly’s Ward 10 Flag Appeal T928).
