The committee are pleased to report that during the last year over £25,000 has been sent to RNLI headquarters at Poole. This sum is a result of special fund-raising events and sale of souvenirs. The next two events will be a Strawberry Tea at the Harbour Gardens on Sunday, July 8, from 2-5 pm, and an Open Air Service at the harbour on Sunday, July 15, at 7 pm.
At the recent AGM of the Tenby RNLI fund-raising committee held at the Royal Gate House Hotel, long service certificates were awarded to (from left); Mrs. Lynne Tibbott, Miss Nesta Davies, Mrs. Betty Lloyd, Mrs. Sue James and Mrs. Alma Lloyd; also to Mrs. Joyce Mawdsley, Mrs. Joan Bradforth and Mrs. Mary Simmonds who were unable to attend.
