SAUNDERSFOOT Community Councillor, Mrs. Rosemary Hayes, has received a long service award for her work on the South Wales Sea Fisheries Committee.
Clr. Mrs. Hayes served on the body - of which she is a former chairman - from 1993 until earlier this year.
She was firstly the representative of the former Dyfed County Council on the committee, then later served the interests of Pembrokeshire County Council.
She was presented with the award by county council chairman, Clr. Robin Evans, at a recent meeting of the committee.
