THE Pembrokeshire fashion label ‘Clare Johns’ will be showcasing their Spring/Summer collection at London Fashion Week on Saturday.

The luxury fashion label owned by Clare Johns, of Pembroke, was established in 2015, fuelled by her passion for style, design and her countryside lifestyle. Through her collections, it is clear to see her passion for structured cuts that flatter the feminine figure and the uniqueness of luxurious, natural materials made from the wool of her own farm animals.

Prior to starting her label, Clare achieved a BA Hons Fashion Design Degree from the University of Wales, and has been running her seamstress business, where she has received endless praise on her friendly, helpful and passionate service and personality.

From shearing to sewing, Clare puts her heart into designing and creating luxurious tailored classics, and unique statement pieces in each collection. With a vision to support sustainability and local creators, Clare is devoted to ensuring that the entire process of her collections is kept within Pembrokeshire, where each piece is lovingly handmade.

Ready to make her debut in the big city at London Fashion Week, Clare has been working tirelessly on her new collection Orchid Dream for Spring/Summer 2017. It encapsulates an eerie atmosphere of dainty yet bold orchids standing wild and alone in a deserted, overgrown field. The organic forms manipulated with a contemporary geometric pattern create the signature print of the label’s newest collection, complementing the tailored tweed and sumptuous materials of each design.
