During the week March 21-27, Care International held their ‘Walk in her Shoes’ 2016 campaign.

Lillyray Williams, Siobhan Cooke and Pam Maggs completed the task of walking 10,000 steps a day (five miles) for seven days, raising funds to help provide clean water sources in Ethiopia.

With sponsorship from friends and local businesses in Tenby, they were able to send £300 to Care International UK. This will be doubled by the UK Government, and will help to provide clean water and sanitation in communities, enabling women and girls to attend school instead of walking long distances for water each day.
