THE commitment given to working with the youth of Tenby by two local men was honoured by the Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Tish Rossiter, and Tenby Town Council last Tuesday. At a special reception, Clr. Mrs. Rossiter paid tribute to Lt. Roy Broxham RNR and Mr. Don Griffiths MBE for their many years of unstinting service to the Tenby Sea Cadets and Tenby Air Training Corps, respectively. To mark the occasion, Clr. Mrs. Rossiter presented both men with Mayoral Certificates of Recognition. During the evening, the Mayor was also delighted to receive a Royal Welch Fusiliers regimental plaque from Mr. Alan Thomas for display in the Mayor's Parlour. The historic regiment is being merged with other Welsh regiments as part of a Government reorganisation of military regiments.
