A LOCAL garage in Tenby has treated a lucky winner to two tickets for the upcoming Autumn Internationals after being drawn in a raffle by Welsh international and Scarlets hooker Ken Owens.
Heather Richmond, from Llanfallteg, won tickets to watch Wales take on New Zealand on November 22 at the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff thanks to fuel distributor Oil 4 Wales.
Heather was entered into the raffle after purchasing fuel at Five Ways garage in Tenby and was randomly selected by Oil 4 Wales' brand ambassadors Ken Owens and former Welsh international Dafydd Jones to win the prize.
Heather said: "I'm over the moon to have won the tickets to see Wales take on the mighty All Blacks, as I'm sure the atmosphere will be incredible. I will be taking my son, Matthew, to the game who is also extremely excited. We go to Tenby every week for fish and chips and stopped off at the Oil 4 Wales garage for petrol and entered the raffle. Little did I know I was going to be lucky enough to win the prize. Rugby tickets these days are expensive, so it's great that Oil 4 Wales ran the competition as it means my son and I will be able to show our support for Wales."
As the oil brand for Wales, Oil 4 Wales has a strong affiliation with Welsh rugby sponsoring the Llanelli Scarlets, Newport Gwent Dragons and Cardiff Blues teams, as well as supplying some of the country's leading players.
Managing director of Oil 4 Wales, Colin Owens, said: "At Oil 4 Wales, our slogan is 'working with the community, for the community' and we always try to run competitions and events to demonstrate how the local community is really at the heart of our operations. We are a proud Welsh company and we are delighted to be able to support Welsh rugby.
"Having brand ambassadors on board, like Ken and Dafydd, is a fantastic way to thank our customers for their support. We hope Heather and her son enjoy the game and a have a great day out."
Oil 4 Wales is an independent, family run oil distribution company. The company, which supplies a range of fuel services to homes, businesses, commercial premises, agricultural and retail customers, supplies over 35,000 customers in Wales delivered by 21 vehicles.
