Local people have been supporting Wales Air Ambulance in their quest to fundraise £8 million pounds per annum to keep the charity flying.

Two regular supporters are the Clarence Hotel, The Esplanade, Tenby, and The Temple Bar, Amroth.

Heather Philbin, who is main fundraiser at the Clarence, handed to Tony Key, the Wales Air Ambulance co-ordinator, a cheque for £881 which had been raised over the year by holding raffles and sales of merchandise on behalf of the charity.

Ian Wilkinson, owner of the Temple Bar, gives praise to the locals of the pub in their fundraising efforts in the community, with £389.50 being raised in January for Wales Air Ambulance by bingo sessions, quiz evenings and raffles.

Thanks must go to all of the people who give of their time to raise funds and if anyone wants to become a volunteer, please contact Tony on 07817 961207.
