WELL-known driving instructor, Suen Andrews, of Kilgetty, is walking the entire length of the Great Wall of China, raising money for the Macmillan Cancer Research charity.

Suen decided to take on this tremendous challenge and raise money for Macmillan after his mother, Jennifer Andrews, a well-known Tenby hotelier, passed away on August 1, 2007, after losing her fight with cancer.

Suen recalls:"The Macmillan nurses were exceptional in the care and support they offered my mum and family. As a sign of my gratitude, I am taking on this challenge and hope to raise over £3,400 for this very worthy charity."

With 100 per cent of all monies raised being donated to Macmillan, Suen hopes that all local businesses, residents, friends and family members will support his walk, helping him raise plenty of money for a charity at the front of dealing with what is a horrible disease.
