Married recently at St. Theodore's Church, Kenfig Hill, Bridgend, were Mr. Paul James Giles and Miss Lisa Leeanne Hale. The groom is the son of James and Doreen Giles, of 1 Chapel House, Hill Lane, Kilgetty, while the bride is the daughter of Mike and Dawn Hale, of Penally. Given away by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless designer gown with beaded bodice, lace-up back and full-length train. Chief bridesmaid was Deborah Ellingham (bride's best friend), while also in attendance was bridesmaid, Lucy Ann Reynolds (groom's sister). Both wore claret A-line shoelace dresses with matching stoles. Flower girl was Aimee Reynolds (groom's niece) and page boy was Ethan Ellingham (bride's best friend's son). Best man was Guy Lewis (groom's friend), while the ushers were Chris Reynolds (groom's brother-in-law), and Pete Robinson (bride's godfather). The ceremony was conducted by the Venerable Philip Morris. Following the wedding service, a reception was held at the Seabank Hotel, Porthcawl. The couple, who spent their honeymoon in Tenerife, have made their home in Kenfig Hill, Bridgend.
