Local rockers Life at the Pines are currently busy recording 11 of their own songs for their debut album. The band, comprising Tristan Craig, Chris Brown and Pete Morgan, intend to use Tenby's resources as much as they can for the recording. As guitarist Chris explained: "We really like the Tenby Male Voice Choir, so are hoping to cajole a few members to help us out with some backing vocals." Bass player Tristan claims the band are determined not to constrain themselves to the confines of the studio for the recording. "We have a portable voice recorder and are planning to record some of our vocals in and around Tenby, so don't be surprised if you see us busking in the Five Arches with a look of intense concentration on our faces." The band will be taking a break from recording to play at The Lifeboat Tavern on Sunday, August 26, starting at 9 pm.
