Murder mystery evening: This was the second event of its kind held by the hall committee and was again a great success. Mike Thorne and colleagues from Tenby provided the 'murder' entertainment and the buffet supper was laid on by the committee. Thanks go to all who came along and also to the 'helpers.'
History meeting: Various matters were discussed. It was decided to continue with the work at Mountain Chapel gardens (see below). Work will continue on the grave survey when the weather improves. The group has also compiled 'Celebration Questionnaires,' relating to old Christmas customs etc, which will be circulating to older members of the community to try and collect memories of Christmases past and how these events have changed over the years.
Mountain Chapel gardens: The History Society will be having the six planters already purchased professionally planted and put in the garden area of the chapel. They would be happy to take subscriptions from anyone who wishes to help with the venture. For a one-off fee of £25, you can support their efforts and also have a loved one's name inscribed on a memorial plaque. For more information, ring Ruth on (01834) 831298.
Hall AGM: The annual general meeting will be held on Monday, February 5, followed immediately by a committee meeting.
