Since its beginnings in January 1948, Llanteg Village Hall has been the central venue for the village.

Over the years, it has hosted various clubs, societies and events such as YFC, MU, WI, whist drives, concerts, Mother and Toddlers, rent-a-table, computer and yoga classes, boxercise, birthday parties and funeral teas. It currently hosts two bowls teams, church services and the history group, as well as holding village get-togethers, charity events and monthly coffee mornings.

To mark its 70th anniversary, the hall committee are organising a village get-together on Sunday, January 14, from 7 pm. This will be an informal pot-luck affair and everyone is asked to bring along a small plate of sweet or savoury food to share and any alcohol they may wish to drink themselves.

We would like to see lots of old and new faces, whether you have used the hall over the years or are new to the village. Please come in 1940s fashions if you feel like it, but it is not mandatory! We will also have some old pictures on display.
