THE Tenby Project invites everyone to the Augustus Place Community Hall in Tenby for their weekly coffee morning with the aim of making new connections.
The Tenby project runs from 10.30am to 4pm, with the coffee morning from 10.30 to 12pm.

The Tenby Project CIC aims to encourage community involvement and personal development for its members. All are welcome, especially those who have learning difficulties.
After the coffee morning, members go on to share lunch and then in the afternoon they participate in activities, sports, craft workshops, enjoy a talk or story from a visiting speaker.

On Fridays, the project runs a weekly food and wellbeing crafts session at Augustus Place Hall. People are invited to relax and share a tasty lunch as well as meeting new friends. Everyone is welcome between 11am and 2pm, with the idea of not sitting alone.

Tenby Project is run by Anne Draper, Tenby Town Council’s community engagement officer.
Anne also runs life skills classes for adults with autism or learning disabilities at Tenby Learning Centre on Wednesdays. The sessions take place during term time between 2pm and 4pm, with subjects such as safety in the home or food hygiene. For more information about life skills classes, call 0808 100 3302.
Lauren looks afters The Tenby Project Facebook page . She told the Observer that “being part of these community projects is a great opportunity to give back to our community of adults who have additional needs; it gives them a safe space to come and socialise and enjoy different projects.
It’s a great project to be part of,” she added.
