Married recently at the Court Hotel, Lamphey, were Alan Martin Thomas and Elizabeth Ann Walker. The groom, a store person at Castell Howell, is the only son of Mrs. Beryl Thomas and the late Alan Thomas, of 4 Maes-y-Bryn, Llandissilio, while the bride, a retail manager, is the only daughter of Mrs. Cath Walker and the late Bill Walker, of Awel-Deg, Llanddewi Velfrey. Given in marriage by her mother, the bride wore a dress by Forever Yours with a heavily beaded bodice and train. She carried a bouquet of lilies, roses and pink orchids. The bridesmaids were Alice Kerr (groom's niece) and Mel Atkins (bride's friend). The best man was Mr. Andrew Walker (bride's brother). The service was conducted by Joy Walker and Pat James. The couple will continue to live in Llanddewi Velfrey.
