Limber up your laughing muscles and sharpen your funny bone, because it's time for another instalment of comedy gold! Yes, Span Arts presents Laugh Lines Comedy Club at the Queen's Hall, Narberth, on Thursday, May 11. Your elegantly dishevelled compere, Dan Atkinson, has an amazing knack for rooting out hilarious comic gems in places you would never expect to find them.... With his wide-eyed, jumpers-for- goalposts enthusiasm and fresh, unpredictable material, you can't help but like the man - even though he is completely out of touch with reality. Headline act Dan Evans has been working the comedy circuit since 1994, when he left a promising career as one of East Anglia's premier office menials to live the dream and be funny full- time. His twisted logic has been a delight for audiences everywhere, helping them deal with situations such as the death of the Queen Mother and the terrifying uncertainties of today's property prices. Last, but by no means least, is George Egg. Hailed as a 'Tommy Cooper for the 21st Century' and armed with a battery of ridiculous props, George bounds onto the stage to perform one of the most original, interesting and sweetly whimsical comedy performances you are ever likely to see. He is also the owner of the world's second largest briefcase. Doors open at 7.30 pm, show starts at 8 pm. Go early if you want a seat! Tickets are £8/£7 and are available from Span Arts on (01834) 869323.
