Tenby all-weather lifeboat Haydn Miller was launched at 4.25 pm on Monday after Milford Haven Coastguard received a call from the 16-foot fishing boat Sheltie 2 stating that they had suffered engine failure 2.5 miles south of St. Govans Head, which is 11 miles to the west of Tenby.

The lifeboat proceeded to the position and took the vessel in tow back to Stackpole Quay.

The lifeboat's Y-boat was used to take the casualty into the Quay and when the occupants were safely ashore the lifeboat returned to station.
