Steve and Claire Stubbs recently presented £1,002 to Tenby RNLI after they both took part in Tenby Long Course Weekend. Claire and Steve said that they could not have picked a hotter weekend to take part in their first marathon. The main reasons for choosing the RNLI as their charity was because as a child Claire's father had been rescued by the RNLI from a rubber dinghy and the whole family are still very active with water sports. The main sponsors were. The New Inn Amroth, Valero, Tenby LVA and of course family and friends. Steve and Claire are seen presenting the cheque to Steve Lowe (mechanic) and Phil John (coxswain).
