Lawyers from Lowless Commercial will run in this year's London Marathon and in half marathons across the country in a fund-raising celebration of their firm's growth.

Hannah Belton, an employment law specialist from Lowless Commercial, will be competing in the London Marathon this Sunday.

Hannah is raising money for Able Child Africa, which builds schools and provides educational support to disabled children in Africa.

On the longer haul is Dani Llewellyn, a commercial property specialist, who in July will be completing the last of 12 races in aid of The Joshua Foundation.

In July last year, Dani's sister, Lucy Whitehouse, was crowned Miss Wales and Dani vowed to complete 12 races during the period of Lucy's title.

Dani will also be racing in the Wales Marathon in Tenby, which will be Pembrokeshire's first ever measured marathon and will be held on Sunday, September 26.

Managing partner, Luke Smith, said of the two lawyers who are both new joiners: "Our lawyers are raising money for great causes. This is also a fantastic way to mark our continued expansion and willingness to go the extra mile. We have seen a massive increase in our work load following the launch of our specialist commercial services."

In 2009, Donna Purchase became a partner heading up the firm's employment team, providing specialist employment law and HR support to businesses. Hannah Belton is also now working in the employment team.

Lucy Griffiths was also made a commercial partner in 2009. Lucy specialises in company and commercial services.

Dani Llewellyn joined most recently as a commercial property specialist from Robertsons Solicitors in Cardiff, and the firm is now recruiting again.
