Following their sellout appearance two years ago, Laura Cortese and The Dance Cards return to play Pennar Hall, Pembroke Dock, on Saturday, July 21.

The band have been going down a storm in the US and across Europe. Their latest album ‘California Calling’ has won glowing reviews on both sides of the Atlantic, including Album of the Week on the Radclifee and Maconie show on BBC Radio 6. Awarding the latest album a five-star review at Acoustic Magazine, Juilan Piper called it ‘stunning’ and added ‘if there was any justice you’d see Laura on Later with Jools Holland next week.’

Jon Harvey, who is promoting the gig, said: “The band enjoyed themselves so much the last time they played Pennar Hall, that it’s great that they have agreed to include the date as part of their UK tour. They were superb last time they played and this is one not to be missed. All profits from the gig will be donated to Hall funds in order to assist with repairs following recent mindless vandalism.”

Support on the night comes from Lowri Evans and there is a licenced bar.

Tickets priced at £14 are available from Main Street Music Pembroke (01646 621530) with limited availability on the night.
