With our experts, learn about their life cycle, feeding habits and the food sources available to them at Stackpole.

Head ranger Chris Oliver said: "The built structures such as the old stable block, now the Courtyard flats, at the head of the freshwater lakes on the estate support breeding populations of many species of bats, including one of the largest populations of greater horseshoes bats in Britain. It is a privilege to be able to share what we know about the bats at Stackpole."

The bat walks take place at Stackpole on August 8 and 15 and cost £3 per person. Meet at the newly-refurbished Stackpole Outdoor Learning Centre at 7.30 pm. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for an evening estate walk. These walks are historically very popular so call 01646 661425 to book your place.
