Tomorrow (Saturday), the local branch hold their monthly meeting. As usual, the venue is St. Teilo's Church Hall, Tenby (opposite the Five Arches). Coffee is served from 10.45 am, followed by a short business meeting. The guest speaker this month is Alun Davies, list Labour candidate for the Mid and West Wales region in the forthcoming Welsh Assembly Elections on May 3. Those who attended the constituency dinner in January will have already met him. This is an opportunity to get to know him better. Christine Gwyther, the local constituency AM, will also be present. The election is just over two months away, so please make sure that you have arranged your postal vote. Anyone can vote by post, and it is so easy to arrange. There are still 2007 events calendars available. If you would like to be informed well in advance as to what is happening, and you cannot attend this meeting, please let the branch know. Owing to the half-term holiday, the planned table- top sale will take place, on a much grander scale, next month, on Saturday, March 17. The speaker next month is Carwyn Jones AM, Welsh Assembly Minister for the Environment, Planning and the Countryside. This is an occasion not to miss! You do not have to be a member to join in the meetings; supporters and voters are very welcome. More information is available from Marjorie on (01834) 842604.
