Sir, A warning to all wheelie bin owners. Make sure you either chain and lock your wheelie bins to something fixed or paint your address all over it! We have been having terrible trouble with the cheap, unsubstantial black bags ripping open - despite being double bagged. We were having to pick up the contents after they had been spread up and down the road every fortnight. We decided to invest £70 in a wheelie bin. This worked well for about two months, then some inconsiderate person decided to pinch it. We are now back to picking up the rubbish off the road every fortnight.
