Young people are being offered the chance to take part in a wild camp this summer.

Pembrokeshire Community Safety Partnership is organising the event, which will take place from July 20-24.

It is aimed at 14-17-year-olds and will involve a variety of events, including team building activities.

The event is being supported by the British Army and the young people will stay at the Castlemartin Camp.

The RNLI are also supporting the event and will be teaching the young people beach safety and life saving skills.

Alison Rogers, of the Community Safety Partnership, said: "The event is all about giving young people something constructive to do and providing them with useful skills.

"However, it aims to be a fun week, involving visits to the fire station, survival techniques and conservation work.

"The Community Safety Partnership consists of a number of key local agencies and they are all supporting this event.

"At the end of the week there will be an awards ceremony for all young people taking part."

Nominations are currently being sought from young people wishing to take part in the event.
