King's Christian Fellowship is an all age church who meet every Sunday morning at the Queen's Hall, Narberth. Mid-week we are based at The King's Courthouse, Narberth, a former Court of Law and listed building. Tuesday mornings the church meet to pray, but people from the community are also welcome to come if they need prayer. There are also mid-week cell groups or bible study groups and a youth aged event every Friday evening. If you have a small child, you might be interested to know that we offer a crèche and Xchange children's programme during the Sunday meeting. All our children's and youth workers are police checked and we have a child protection policy. We are currently studying New Life through Jesus Christ and our speaker for last Sunday was assistant pastor, Phil Prosser. Continuing the study, Phil spoke on how deeply offensive our behaviour is to God. We often see our behaviour on a sliding scale with so called 'bad behaviour ' and 'not so bad behaviour' and excuse our actions by comparing ourselves with others when in reality we are all so far from the ideal God designed us to be. Our capacity for wrongdoing is so widespread, it is almost like a pandemic disease affecting young and old of every nation and colour. So that we find that we are ineffective to make lasting character changes, despite our best intentions. There is a cure, however, and this is the message of 'Good News' that church must bring. Acceptance of our situation, accepting that we cannot reform ourselves, accepting that the answer to the problem is the sacrificial death of Jesus Christ upon the cross, and accepting the power of the Holy Spirit to transform us not reform us. Good News for everyone who has ever tried and failed to change themselves. KCF West Wales is a member of the Evangelical Alliance and also a registered charity.
