Colin Joy, leader of KCF - Tenby, brought the second part to his wonderful sermon on the first chapter of Philippians. He concentrated on the fact that even prison could not stop Paul the Apostle from praying and being happy for the church in Philippi. Paul felt such love for this church. The very heart of God was shown through the words of this letter.
Colin emphasised that the letter wasn't purely a portrayal of Paul's feelings, but rather that he was governed by faith and that he really loved the Philippians. Christianity is based on love. The church should be a church which loves people but with a love that is based on faith and not sentimental feelings.
