May I draw your readers' attention to a fantastic opportunity for all young golfers in Pembrokeshire to pick up their clubs and help raise crucial funds to fight heart disease. This year a preliminary round of the British Heart Foundation's Junior Golf Competition at Trefloyne Golf Club on March 28 will pick some of the best young golfers to go on to further rounds to compete on a national level at some of the best courses in the UK with the national final being held at The Belfry. Not only is it great fun, but competitors will be raising funds to help the BHF support the 2.6 million people living in the UK today with heart disease. This includes supporting vital heart research and helping to fund cardiac nurses who provide the support and reassurance heart patients and their families need in their communities.
