In this very special diamond jubilee year, the Preseli Bluestone Run 2012, in aid of the British Heart Foundation, will this year be dedicated to the Queen's diamond jubilee and will take place on Sunday, June 10.

This event is a motoring tour for all types of vintage, classic, kit and specialised motor vehicles/bikes of about 60 miles crossing over the Preseli Hills - famous for its Preseli Bluestone of Stonehenge fame, followed by a motoring tour around the Bluestone countryside, before arriving at the finish line.

There will also be an optional halfway stop for everyone, courtesy of the Dyfed Shire Horse Farm at Eglwyswrw.

This year, with it also being the 222nd anniversary of the birth of the town of Milford Haven, the start line will be at Gelliswick Bay and the finish line in the Towns Moor car park in Narberth.

Due to this event being part of the nation's diamond jubilee celebrations, everyone is invited to decorate their vehicles with flags/balloons and come in period/fancy dress if they wish - after all, there are no less than six decades of fashion to choose from!

All entries will receive a Preseli Bluestone Run 2012 diamond jubilee commemorative rally board and a BHF certificate.
