With plans to redevelop the Jubilee Play Area having been put on hold, a Tenby councillor remains concerned about the poor state of the garden in the meantime. "The whole of the Jubilee area is in a terrible state at the moment," said Clr. Mrs. Trisha Putwain at Tuesday night's meeting of the town council. "It appears that no mowing has been done for a while. Are they just going to completely let it go?" Mayor, Clr. Mrs. Sue Lane explained that a development of the area should have been well underway, but that Pembrokeshire County Council had unfortunately "pulled the carpet from under our feet" on the scheme, while they explored other avenues. Clr. Mike Evans told members that he would look into the matter and the garden's upkeep.
