As part of the Canine Partners National Bluebell Walk Campaign 2008, a walk will be taking place between Colby Woodland Gardens and Amroth on Saturday, April 19. The walk will start at 12 noon, with all funds raised going to support Canine Partners, a charity specialising in providing highly trained assistance dogs to people with disabilities. The Canine Partners National Bluebell Walk Campaign is the perfect way for people to get active for a worthwhile cause. The Colby to Amroth walk takes place at Colby Woodland Gardens, courtesy of the National Trust, and will last from one to two hours, with the first part being suitable for wheelchairs and buggies. Walkers are asked to meet at the free National Trust car park at Colby Woodland Gardens and there is a café on site for refreshments. Walk organiser Sarah Ellis and Jenny Thomas commented: "This walk takes place in lovely surroundings and we are hoping to raise plenty of money for Canine Partners. We encourage anyone from the local area, and their dog(s), to join us for an enjoyable walk - as well as the opportunity to find out more about the work of Canine Partners. We would also like to thank Colby Woodland Gardens for allowing us to use their grounds." For sponsorship forms and further information, please call Sarah Ellis on 07952 471570.
