Unemployment figures are continuing to fall in Pembrokeshire.
New data shows that for the fifth consecutive month, the rate of unemployment in Pembrokeshire is below or at the Welsh average.
In August, 1,468 people in Pembrokeshire were claiming Jobseeker's Allowance. That gives an unemployment rate of 2.2 per cent - the ninth lowest rate in Wales and below the Welsh and UK average of 2.4 per cent.
Pembrokeshire had the seventh lowest rate of unemployment in Wales for women and the 10th lowest for men, while for both men and women the rate was below the Welsh and UK average.
Unemployment was lowest in North Pembrokeshire, with 1.8 per cent of people in the Fishguard and St. Davids area out of work.
In the Pembroke and Tenby area, 2.2 per cent of people were unemployed, while 2.5 per cent were out of work in Haverfordwest and Milford Haven. Welcoming the figures, Clr. John Davies, leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, said: "I'm pleased to see that fewer people are out of work.
"These figures show that the various initiatives undertaken by the county council and our partners, throughout the county, are paying off and that more people in Pembrokeshire are now able to get jobs."
