The following matters were discussed at the annual meeting of the council held recently: Appointment of chairman and vice-chairman: Councillors D. J. Scourfield and T. B. Miller were appointed chairman and vice-chairman, respectively, for the ensuing year. Loan Hill Farm: Members were very pleased that on receipt of permission from Pembrokeshire County Council, the owner of Loan Hill Farm had immediately constructed a new access to the property obviating the need to use the entrance via the one-way road. Thanks were expressed to County Clr. J. Codd for his contribution in resolving this matter. Recycling: A letter and posters were received from Pembrokeshire County Council regarding the introduction of the Orange Bag Scheme in the area. The importance to the environment of recycling was stressed and it was hoped that local residents would ensure that items were placed in the appropriate bag. Donations: A letter was received from Wales Air Ambulanced thanking the council for the donation of £25. Following consideration of requests, it was resolved that donations of £25 each be made to the following: South Pembrokeshire Area Committee of The Royal Welsh Agricultural Society Ltd - in respect of Pembrokeshire being the feature county at this year's show; Greenhill School - in respect of a rugby tour to South Africa in July. Grass cutting: Members are grateful to the family of Mrs. D. Arthur and the late Mr. Tony Arthur for continuing the grass cutting at Cresselly in which he took great pride.
