A Pembrokeshire motor dealership which handles the iconic Jeep brand is bowled over that an international cricketer is to become its new brand ambassador.

Ottis Gibson, England cricket fast bowling coach, is being sponsored by PMS to take on the role.

PMS managing director John Green has known Ottis personally for over 25 years. Hailing from Barbados, and previously the head coach for the West Indies, he is no stranger to Pembrokeshire, having played at Lamphey in celebrity matches organised by the village cricket club.

Jeep is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2016, and the latest addition to its fleet is the Jeep Renegade, which has been voted 4x4 of the Year.

Said John: “We’re delighted to sponsor Ottis. We feel he really reflects the lifestyle of the Jeep Renegade customer.

“Since taking delivery of the Jeep Renegade, Ottis’s position with the England cricket team has undoubtedly been strengthened, as bowlers Jimmy Anderson and Stuart Broad quickly dismissed the Sri Lankans in the opening two Test Matches!”
