APPEARING at Narberth Rugby Club for the first time, under the auspices of Narberth Jazz, on Wednesday, will be local band JazzRus.

Led by banjo player and vocalist, Tudur Thomas, JazzRus is a lively jazz quartet playing foot-tapping music in a style reminiscent of the 'Frisco' bands of the 1950s.

Joining Tudur in the band are James Campbell (cornet/flugel horn), Mike Hutchings (clarinet/sax) and Nick Carter (bass guitar).

All four musicians live in Pembrokehsire, but have a wealth of jazz experience, both nationally and internationally.

The evening starts at 8.30 pm and costs £3.
