It's certainly thumbs up for Kilgetty's spectacular Christmas lights display at St. Mary's Place from the village's own Mr. Christmas, Peter Thomas, and his festive young fans. The spectacular show has already raised a sparkling £2,600, including donations of £200 from Tenby's Evergreen Nomads and Tenby's Royal British Legion branch, who raised £30 in a spur-of-the-moment collection when a coach taking them stopped at the estate for everyone to see the lights. This year, donations are in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care and the Chemotherapy Day Unit at Withybush Hospital, Haverfordwest. Peter is seen with granddaughter Lowri and friend, Kieran Vaughan.
