This year, the Really Wild Festival will be 10 years old and will be celebrating its birthday in the beautiful surroundings of the Bishop's Palace in St. Davids on Saturday and Sunday, May 24 and 25.
"I'm so pleased that we are working with Cadw again,' said Julia Horton-Powdrill, the festival founder and organiser. "In 2013, the Really Wild Festival was judged the Best Day Out/Visitor Experience in Pembrokeshire and it promises to be as spectacular as last year, with new fun attractions and old favourites. There will be over 70 stalls show-casing and selling their products.
"All our food and drink exhibitors will be from within Wales," said Julia. "There is such a wonderful variety of top quality produce in the Principality. Why would we look further afield?"
A fantastic choice of hands-on workshops will be available especially for over 60s and under 10s. There will be plenty more to entertain and occupy every member of the family. Join in on a foraging walk, stream dipping, photography walk or seed bomb making; watch the falconry displays, gundog training and chef demonstrations. An amazing selection of hot meals will be available all day, and tickets will be on sale prior to the festival for a celebration Really Wild Dinner on Saturday evening in the Bishop's Palace.
The Really Wild team is continually grateful to their volunteers for the time they spend helping before, during and after the festival, but would be happy to welcome anyone who would like to lend a hand for part or all the weekend.
