Sir,
We went on St, Catherine's Island when it was open for a short time the other Monday, around 4 pm at low tide. There was a sign saying 'Island Open', so we just had to go there. It was amazing; good secure steps and platforms leading right up to the point before the walkway across to the main doors.
Last went on there in the early '80s into the actual fortress. Such a lovely place and wow, magnificent views back to Tenby itself.
After being back there, we can see that it would be sad to just let this lovely historical place just rot away, especially in such a beautiful setting.
