Brothers Sion and Richard Allen, both of Cresswell Quay, last weekend successfully completed Ironman Wales, with Sion coming in at 15 hours 43 and Richard in 16 hours 25.

It was no easy challenge for the brothers to take on Ironman as both have type 1 diabetes, requiring regular glucose testing and the use of insulin injections to keep this under control.
