A FORMER pupil of Tenby's Greenhill School has been making a 'big splash' in a tough endurance test held in Australia.

Paul Williams, whose parents Michael and Ann Williams live in Hundleton, recently travelled to Perth in Australia to take part in the Western Australia Iron Man Triathlon.

The event consists of a 2.4-mile swim in open water, a 112-mile cycle ride and is then rounded off with a full 26.2-mile marathon.

Paul, who completed the challenge for a charity supporting ovarian cancer, finished the course in an excellent time of 12 hours 35 minutes and came 70th competing against 780 others in his category.

Paul, who now lives in London and works in theatre marketing, attended Greenhill School from 1973-79.
