There were special birthday celebrations at Woodland Lodge Residential Home, Gumfreston, on Monday, when Mrs. Irene Charles, turned 100.

Special guest, Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Trevor Hallett, attended to congratulate Irene, and is pictured with Irene's daughter, Lynne, and son-in-law Terry, of Saundersfoot.

Clr. Hallett presented Irene with a commemorative Tenby Town Council scroll, while congratulatory cards were also received from HM The Queen and the First Minister for Wales.

During the afternoon, a party was held in Irene's honour for family, friends and all at Woodlands with a buffet, birthday cake and entertainment by Sister Act.
