The Soroptomist International Group of Pembroke Borough is staging an International Evening at Pembroke Town Hall on June 14, starting at 7.30 pm. Proceeds from the evening will be donated to the Noah's Ark Appeal which will be represented by Rosemary Hayes of its Pembrokeshire fund-raising committee.

Rosemary will give a short talk on the progress of the Noah's Ark Appeal and the new Children's Hospital for Wales. This will be followed by a candle lighting ceremony in which candles are lit for various parts of the world. Members and guests will then be entertained by a medieval band.
