The Rotary Club of Narberth and Whitland are thrilled to announce that two leading Welsh tenors are to star in their autumn concert at the Follies Theatre, Folly Farm.

The concert to be held on Saturday, November 12, will highlight top Welsh operatic tenor and world-renowned classical singer Rhys Meirion, who has performed at many leading venues throughout the world from London’s Albert Hall to New York’s Carnegie Hall. The other leading tenor taking part is Pembrokeshire’s own Trystan Llyr Griffiths, who will be flying home to Pembrokeshire from Zurich, Switzerland, especially for the concert. (Trystan will be progressing his career this autumn at the Zurich International Opera School, as well as appearing at the Zurich Opera House as Beppe in Pagliacci).

The concert line-up will also feature the ever-popular Whitland and District Male Choir, led by musical director Juliet Rossiter and talented young local artists, sopranos Sioned Llewelyn, (Efailwen) and Esyllt Thomas, (Eglwyswrw), together with baritone Aaron Kendall, of Haverfordwest.

The concert is looking to raise money for several leading charities, including the Wales Air Ambulance, The Paul Sartori Foundation, Prostate Cymru, The Kidney Wales Foundation and Shelterbox.
