President Helen John was wished a forthcoming happy birthday by the large number of members attending the meeting of the Inner Wheel Club of Narberth and Whitland. Apologies were given from Brenda Harries, Molly Evans and Pat Coates. There were no matters arising from the minutes of the October meeting. Correspondence had been received with details of the British Legion Parade and Church Service at St. Andrew's Church, Narberth, and the Poppy Day wreath-laying ceremony to follow at the War Memorial, at which president Helen John and some members would attend. The president had attended the Tenby club's 60th birthday dinner and the District 15 Inner Wheel Rally at Nantyffin Hotel, where members welcomed and met the Inner Wheel Association president, Mrs. Phyl Fennelly. The members, following club tradition, will welcome District 15 Inner Wheel chairman, Mrs. Hannah Whatley, to their Christmas dinner meeting. Other club reports were kept to the minimum in anticipation of the guest speaker, Pauline Griffiths, curator of the Narberth Museum, who delighted everyone with a wonderful selection of old photographs through the ages in Narberth, which were passed around, in protective covers, for all to enjoy, especially when some members recognised family members and even themselves as children. The curator answered many questions and was looking forward to the future when a new, larger museum would replace the present one.
