President Betty Ramsay and members met at the Fourcroft Hotel on Monday, April 23.

The first duty the president had was to present a cheque for £500 - half the proceeds from the recent Fork Luncheon - to Gillian Morse, a nurse with the Paul Sartori Foundation specialising in the Lymphoedema Service.

Gillian gave a brief resume of the work and support given to patients by the support team.

This was followed by Joy Kingdon, a homeopathic practitioner, who gave a very interesting talk on homeopathy which is a powerful form of healing. This was followed by many questions being asked.

In proposing the vote of thanks, vice-president Mary Morgan spoke for all present when she said how everyone had enjoyed the talk.

President Betty then gave out notices of various fund-raising events being held in and around Tenby.

The raffle, donated by Marnie Owen, was won by Jean Phillips.

Any member wishing to go on the trip to the Torch Theatre on May 16 and has not given her name, please contact Judy Hughes as soon as possible.

The next meeting on May 14 will be a business meeting.
