A three-year-old boy injured when a tree fell on him and his mother at a Pembrokeshire wildlife park has been moved out of high dependency care.
A spokesman for Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, where he has been a patient since the incident at the end of August, said: "The little boy injured at Manor House Wildlife Park last month has left high dependency care.
"He has been transferred to a ward at the Children's Hospital for Wales at University Hospital of Wales where he is in a stable condition.
"The family have asked that the media continue to respect their privacy while they focus on his recovery."
Twenty-eight-year-old Emma Davies Hughes, a PE teacher from Cross Hands, Llanelli, and her three-year-old son were seriously injured and were airlifted to Morriston Hospital, Swansea, after being freed from underneath the tree by firefighters.
The little boy, who suffered serious head injuries, was later transferred to the intensive care unit at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff.
His mother left hospital a few days after the incident.
Pembrokeshire County Council's public protection division are carrying out an investigation into the incident.
Said a spokeswoman at the time: "A full survey of the tree has been carried out by a tree specialist. It will take some time before a detailed report is available."
The park is owned by TV celebrity Anna Ryder Richardson and her husband Colin MacDougall who released a statement saying they were 'devastated' by the incident.
