'Informative' and 'good' were the two words used by Narberth town councillor Mrs. Val Bradley to describe the A40 Penblewin to Slebech Park local authority liaison community meeting.
Clr. Mrs. Bradley had attended the recent meeting along with the clerk, Mrs. Caroline Coaker.
They were given a powerpoint presentation which explained the project which includes three new bridges, two underpasses for pedestrians, equestrians and cyclists, a retaining wall at Sunnyside, measures to protect and enhance where possible the local environment and realignment of the A4075/B4314 and Llawhaden side roads.
Clr. Mrs. Bradley was also pleased to hear that trees dug up to make way for the work were now being replanted.
The two representatives also informed their colleagues that they had accepted an invitation for the council to tour the route and see the work being carried out, on a date to be arranged.
