To reach the wider business community in Pembrokeshire, the business support agencies have come together in conjunction with Radio Pembrokeshire to offer a unique 'One Stop Shop' telephone Hotline which will be on offer on Thursday, June 19, between the hours of 7.30 am and 6 pm.

Pembrokeshire businesses will be able to obtain instant advice and details about the practical support on offer to support their skills needs and the development of their business. Experts will be at the end of a telephone throughout the day to discuss with callers their specific needs and to give advice, arrange applications for grant support and any signposting to other organisations which may be able to help address any specific needs which can't be met via the Hotline.

Callers will be able to access instant information on training options for themselves and their employees, staff recruitment support, business support grant aid, low cost business loans and a wide range of other initiatives.

Representatives will be on hand from the National Council - ELWa, Pembrokeshire County Council, the Welsh Development Agency, the Wales Tourist Board, JobcentrePlus, Pembrokeshire Lottery and others.

Kefin Wakefield, head of economic development with Pembrokeshire County Council and a member of the partnership responsible for this initiative, said: " This is the first time that all of the agencies have come together to offer a comprehensive product to the business community. I hope that businesses of all sizes throughout Pembrokeshire will take advantage of this opportunity by ringing the Hotline number 01646 682184 to discuss their current and future plans in complete confidence.

"We have recognised for some time that it is difficult for some business people to make time to attend the information events which are regularly held in the county. This initiative will ensure that the facts needed can be obtained by talking to one or more of the agencies able to help for the cost of one phone call to the Hotline. "

Although the multi agency 'Hotline' is being offered on the June 19 only, businesses will still be able to obtain the information they need by contacting the team at the Pembrokeshire County Council on the same number 01646 682184 during normal office hours on Monday to Friday.
