There is nothing like match practice to get cricketers ready for the new Pembrokeshire League season. Competitive action for 2007 will start on Sunday, January 14, when the first games are played in the Martin James Health Club, Pembroke County Cricket Club Indoor League. Cricketers from Pembroke Dock A will be competing on that day against two teams from Haverfordwest Cricket Club and on the following Sunday the Pembroke Dock B team players will also be in action. There will be a local derby on Sunday, January 28, when Saundersfoot play Whitland and Pembroke Dock A team. Last season, the Indoor League was dominated by the two teams from Neyland Cricket Club, but the players from Saundersfoot, Whitland and Pembroke Dock will hope to give the Neyland cricketers stiff competition for the title this season. All games will take place at the Meads Leisure Centre, Milford Haven, from 1 until 4 pm each Sunday from January 14 until March 25.
