Sir,
Tenby is a jewel, and Tudor Square, made so famous by Henry VII (1457) and the Tudor Dynasty.
Today, however, there is a real need to improve things, particularly for the shopkeepers in the town.
My suggestions:
1. Car parking (free in winter - the answer to any town centre. Tenby, get together and buy the old car sales site in St. Florence Parade, near Wimbledon Court - so near and what a perfect entrance through the Five Arches.
2. Trains - put forward an idea to train companies (so lucky to have a train service). Day trips from Bristol/Cardiff or, better still, weekends. Advertise these in the UK and Europe (Tenby is famous!).
3. Establish a farmers market for Saturdays and/or Sundays. Imagine how lovely that would be and the setting would surpass anywhere in Wales!
Hope my ideas are helpful; I want Tenby to succeed.
William Rogers,
Cardiff.
